Pugal Solar Park will have 2450 MW capacity
Investment worth Rs 17 thousand crore will come, tender issued on online platform for development of the park

Jaipur, 11 January. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is continuously giving impetus to solar energy projects in the state. In this sequence, the tender for the solar park being established in Pugal in Bikaner district has been launched on the online platform. In this, the last date for submitting bids has been fixed as March 9. In this tender, Indian and foreign companies in the solar energy sector will submit their bids.

Energy Minister Shri Hiralal Nagar informed that along with 2,450 MW solar power projects, 1,600 MW/6,400 MW-hour battery energy storage system will also be set up in Pugal Solar Park. This park will be a major step towards providing assured and dispatchable renewable energy in the state.  

The Energy Minister said that Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company, a subsidiary of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited, is developing the infrastructure for this project. 4,394 hectares of land has been allotted for this. The solar and battery energy storage projects that will be established in this will be connected to the transmission system of Rajasthan Electricity Transmission Corporation. The projects will be developed under the “Build on Operate” (BOO) model.

He said that 100 percent power generated from these projects will be purchased by Rajasthan Energy Development and IT Services Limited for the discoms of the state for 25 years. This will ensure long-term revenue to developers.

The park will be developed in two parts. The first phase will develop 2,000 MW of solar power as well as a 1,320 MW/5,280 megawatt-hour battery energy storage system. The second phase will develop 450 MW of solar power and a 280 MW/1,120 megawatt-hour energy storage system. Bidders can participate in both the lots. In this, use of solar modules listed in the Approved List of Module Manufacturers, adherence to cyber security standards and installation of GPS-enabled automatic weather stations will be mandatory. Energy production will have to start within 24 months from the date of signing.

The Energy Minister said that these projects will bring investment of about Rs 17,000 crore and generate about 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, which will contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the state.

The Energy Minister said, “This mega tender will make Rajasthan a leader in renewable energy along with energy storage. It will ensure power supply during peak hours and will significantly contribute to India’s energy transition. He has invited developers from across the country and the world to participate in this transformative initiative.

Jaipur, 15 December. Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the state level exhibition organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra on Monday on completion of two years of the state government. He observed public welfare schemes, development projects, various public utility equipment and products, innovations and achievements at the stalls of various departments in the exhibition.

Shri Sharma also got a selfie clicked at the digital selfie point installed at the stall of the Information and Public Relations Department. Additionally, they also participated in the quiz conducted through AI interactive panel at the stall. At the same time, at the stall of the Home Department, Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma gave information to the Chief Minister regarding the innovations of the department. Shri Sharma expressed satisfaction over the effective disposal of complaints through Rajcop App.

The Chief Minister took information about grid digitalization through the presentation of Jaipur Discom at the stall of the Energy Department. During this, he said that PM Kusum Yojana and PM Surya Ghar Yojana are ambitious schemes of the double engine government. More and more people should be benefited through these. He took information about the working of the robotic machine for cleaning the sewerage manholes of the city at the stall of the Autonomous Government Department.

Shri Sharma launched new housing schemes for different income groups in Hanumangarh and Bhiwadi on behalf of Rajasthan Housing Board at the stalls of Urban Development and Housing Board. During this, the Chief Minister, on behalf of Jaipur Development Authority, symbolically distributed pattas on the spot to 3 farmers (total 20 beneficiary account holders) of Jagatpura Central Spine Scheme Block-G. Additionally, he also released the digital guide of JDA.

The Chief Minister reviewed important materials including achievements of the state government in two years, publications related to schemes, models of development works, photo-video panels in the development exhibition giving the message of “New upliftment – ​​New identity, Growing Rajasthan – Our Rajasthan”. He appreciated the state level exhibition equipped with useful information and instructed the officials to make the general public aware of the schemes, so that we can move forward rapidly towards achieving the goal of Developed Rajasthan-2047.

During this, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Avinash Gehlot, Minister of State for Urban Development (Independent Charge) Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra, Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Shri Otram Devasi, Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Government Secretary and Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Department Shri Sandesh Nayak were present. At the same time, senior officials of the department and the general public were also present at the departmental stalls.

It is noteworthy that in this exhibition organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, the exhibitions are being organized by Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Cooperation, Water Resources and PHED, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Disaster Management, Labour, Energy, Mines and Geology, Public Works, Autonomous Governance, Urban Development, Transport and Road Safety, Information and Technology, Education, Industry and Commerce, Medical and Health, Home, Food and Civil Supplies, Planning, Social Justice and Empowerment, Women and Child Development, Forest, Tourism and other departments. Development works, schemes and achievements have been shown through photo and video panels. Through this exhibition, the general public will be able to get information about the welfare decisions, programmes, policies and schemes of the government. This state level exhibition will be held till December 18, which the general public will be able to visit from 11 am to 8 pm.

Chief Minister on morning walk, met common people along with walk in Jawahar Circle Park

Jaipur, 06 December. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma took a morning walk in Jawahar Circle Park in Jaipur on Saturday morning. Taking forward the resolution of ‘Fit Rajasthan-Fit India’, he gave the message to everyone to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle. 

During this time, the people present in the park also took a morning walk with the Chief Minister, matching their steps. Shri Sharma met the common people with cordiality and talked about issues related to health, daily routine and lifestyle. 

The Chief Minister visited the temple located in Jawahar Circle Park and wished for the happiness, prosperity and public welfare of the state. After this, he also discussed with the common people while drinking juice.

During this, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by paying floral tributes on his portrait in a program organized by the Happiness and Fitness Group on the Maha parinirvan Day. He said that the path of equality and justice shown by Baba Saheb will always keep the country and society moving towards progress and harmony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen in the 128th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma listened to the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program with the general public at Sanganer Camp Office. 

In his address, the Prime Minister said that India has achieved great achievements in the agriculture sector and has created a historical record of food grain production of 357 million tonnes. He said that India’s food grain production has increased by 100 million tonnes compared to 10 years ago. 

Modi said that more than 1.5 lakh metric tonnes of honey is being produced in the country and the export of honey has also increased more than three times. He also discussed the production of honey by local people and institutions in different areas of the country. He described the huge Natural Farming Conference organized in Coimbatore as a part of India’s ancient traditions and appealed to promote it continuously.

The Prime Minister also talked about the G-20 summit. He said that in the gifts he presented to the world leaders on behalf of the countrymen, he took special care of the spirit of Vocal for Local. Shri Modi said that he presented to the Prime Minister of Canada a replica of a silver horse which shows the finest craftsmanship of Udaipur, Rajasthan. He expressed happiness that crores of people of the country have made the spirit of Vocal for Local a part of their lives. 

The Prime Minister also talked about the presentation of the Mahabharata saga through a 3D light and sound show at the Mahabharata Experience Center in Kurukshetra, Haryana. He said that people from many countries of the world including Europe and Central Asia participated enthusiastically in the International Gita Mahotsav organized at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra. Shri Modi called for strengthening the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat’ by maximum participation in the fourth Kashi-Tamil Sangamam to be organized at Namo Ghat in Kashi.

Discussing the performance of Indian players in various sports, the Prime Minister said that winning the ICC Women’s World Cup by the Indian women’s cricket team, the Kabaddi World Cup by the women Kabaddi players and the Blind Cricket World Cup by the women’s team is a historic achievement. He also praised the performance of Indian players in the Deaflympics and World Boxing Cup finals.

Modi said that Navy Day celebrated on December 4 is a special day to honor the indomitable courage and valor of our soldiers. He said that there are naval related museums at various places in the country where information about the history of the navy is available. He described the induction of INS ‘Mahe’ into the Indian Navy, opening of the world’s largest Leap Engine MRO facility in Hyderabad and establishment of Skyroot Startup’s Infinity Campus as a reflection of India’s new thinking, innovation and youth power.

The Prime Minister said that winter tourism is an important part of the economy in many countries of the world. In India too, it has immense potential in states like Uttarakhand. He said that the Himalayan valleys are becoming famous for adventure games and destination weddings. 

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the Mann Ki Baat program is a symbol of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s close bond with the countrymen. Through this program the Prime Minister tells us about the glorious achievements of the country. Along with always encouraging indigenous products, he also reinforces the feeling of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat among the countrymen.
