Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of Vikas Rath Yatra
Jaipur, 17 December. Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivasan reviewed the progress of the ongoing Vikas Rath Yatra activities, night chaupals and various programs organized to solve public problems in all the assembly constituencies of the state. The Chief Secretary, through VC, instructed all the district collectors that the achievements and welfare schemes of the state government in the last two years should be effectively conveyed to as many people as possible in every district. He gave strict instructions to all the district collectors to ensure better monitoring of these activities.
On Wednesday, the Chief Secretary was holding a review meeting with senior officials of the departments in connection with the ongoing Vikas Rath Yatra in every assembly constituency to publicize the achievements of the state government in the last two years at the Government Secretariat.
Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivasan also gave instructions to share the development works done and under construction in every district on as many social media platforms as possible. He stressed on ensuring continuous monitoring of these works through the district offices of the Information Technology Department and regular updating of the related data.
The Chief Secretary directed that the programs being organized in all the districts, activities of Vikas Rath Yatra and other programs should be posted on social media along with photos and videos. This will help in effectively conveying the achievements of the state government to the common people.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary also reviewed various programs to be organized in the state from 18 to 25 December. He organized Environment Protection Campaign on 18th December, Women’s Conference in Dholpur district on 19th December, Curtain Raiser Army Day Parade on 20th December, Run for Developed Rajasthan on 21st December, Women Empowerment Conference and Public Meeting on 22nd December, Farmers’ Conference in Merta Nagaur on 23rd December, Tourism Conclave on 24th December and State Level Good Governance Day Program on 25th December for better preparation, maximum public participation and effective Instructions for monitoring were also given.
Shri Praveen Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department, Shri Bhavani Singh Detha, Principal Secretary to the Government, Women and Child Development Department, Shri Naveen Jain, Secretary to the Government General Administration, Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pawan, Secretary to the Government, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Shri Sandesh Nayak, Commissioner Information and Public Relations Department and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister and senior officials of other departments were present in the meeting.
